Provisional CTCC Results Round Nine-Sasha Anis and Gary Kwok in first place

Starting from pole position, Sasha Anis in his Hyundai Genesis Coupe led the field with a big margin. He was followed by the leader in Super Class points, Richard Boake in his Subaru STI. Coming from fourth position, Arek Wojciechowski battled with Dean Fantin for the first few laps and when Fantin spun in corner eight during lap four, that gave a chance to Wojciechowski to pass him and get closer to Boake. Iit took two more laps to pass him a get second place.

The top three maintained their position until the checkered and Anis finished in first place in Super Class followed by Wojciechowski in second place and Boake in third.

Fourth and fifth positions were given to Bob Attrell in his Hyundai Genesis Coupe and Dean Fantin in his BMW 330i.

In Touring Class, the battle was intense as P.J. Groenke was determined to win back some points, lost at Toronto, with his VW GTI. After spending the first half of the race trying to pass the four cars in front of him, Groenke succeeded and got to the first position but had to pull into pit lane to get his rear bumper removed as it was dangerously dragging behind him. This pit stop cost him a possible podium, and important points.

For Michel Sallenback, driver of his MINI Cooper S JCW, this race was a battle with Tom and Gary Kwok from start to finish having them both in his sight, sometimes in the back, sometimes in the front. Only a few laps before the end of the race, Gary Kwok decided to put an end to this battle and pass Sallenbach and his brother Tom, to finish first. Surprisingly enough, Gary Kwok did not give any chance to his brother Tom that is leading in the Touring Class standings.

Round Nine, for Touring Class, ended with Gary Kwok in first place, Tom Kwok in second and Michel Sallenbach in third.

Fourth and fifth positions were given to Kurt Langeveldt and P.J. Groenke.

Please take note that some changes may occur in the final results as they are not official at the present time. Due to failure by his crew to obey procedure, Sasha Anis will forfeit his points for Round Nine.
