Brits on The Lake 4th Annual Festival is Approaching

We are now just four weeks and counting to the fourth annual BRITS ON THE LAKE CLASSIC MOTORING REVIVAL in beautiful, historic downtown Port Perry on August 11th & 12th, 2012.

Brits on the Lake - Classic Motoring Revival

The REVIVAL is fast becoming the country’s most popular all-British motoring meet. Set in the time capsule of the post-war era, it relives the glory days of sporting British cars and motorcycles and it is most likely the biggest street party of its kind. It offers owners, enthusiasts, visitors and shop-keepers the opportunity to leave the modern world behind and enjoy the magic of the historic street scape infused with the rolling beauty of classic British engineering and design.

2012 FEATURED MARQUES EXPANDED!!!

In response to popular demand we are expanding the featured marques in celebration of the 50th Anniversaries of several significant models within the BritCar family. 1962 was a great year for the British Auto industry and also for all of us because fifty years on, we have these wonderful pieces of rolling history to appreciate and to help us remember more carefree days.

2012 FEATURED MARQUES AND 50th ANNIVERSARIES:

  • FORD CARS in celebration of the revolutionary CORTINA
  • LOTUS CARS in celebration of the nimble ELAN
  • MG CARS in celebration of the 50th Anniversary for the FAB MGB!
  • MORRIS AND AUSTIN CARS in celebration of the record selling MORRIS 1100 model range
  • TRIUMPH CARS in celebration of the dashing Spitfire

PLUS, we have EXPANDED the weekend to include SATURDAY events:

All that I can tell you now is that you’ll enjoy the sense of discovery as the road opens before you. The rest will remain top secret. Be sure to make plans to be part of the first annual event. The cost is only $50.00 per car (driver & navigator) and includes lunch. Entry is limited to 30 cars. To sign up, email brits@britsonthelake.com or call 705-878-5422.

“NO U-BOATS LAKE CRUISE” with British Invasion Dinner and Dance in the evening. You will board the “Woodman” at 6:45pm and disembark at 10:00pm at the wharf in Port Perry. EVENT THEME: “STEP BACK IN TIME – GOODWOOD STYLE” – The Revival will be a magical step back in time, a unique chance to revel in the glamour and allure of classic British motoring set in the romantic time capsule offered by the historic Port Perry streetscape.
