Fernandes hints at name tweak for Team Lotus

Team Lotus boss Tony Fernandes has hinted his team might be rebranded for the 2012 season.

The team claimed victory in the High Court battle with Group Lotus, but Bernie Ecclestone was quoted afterwards suggesting the Caterham name might need to be added to the official title in the future.

“We’re going to step back a bit (now),” Fernandes answered when asked about the future in Monaco by the BBC.  “We have some thoughts.  In my mind maybe by Silverstone [in July] we will unveil something.”

Fernandes has decided his AirAsia GP2 team will be renamed Caterham.
