Montreal and Toronto, May 4th 2011 \u2013 The Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Continental Tire (CTCC) and Stock-Car Montr\u00e9al are proud to announce the first participation of the popular Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship at the NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge, August 19th and 20th 2011 on Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.<\/p>\n

Since 2007, the NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge is one of the premier sporting events in Canada and features a round of the NASCAR Nationwide Series, the only major NASCAR race outside the USA. With its demanding road course, and its unique atmosphere, the on-track action is exceptional. As the President of CTCC says, the CTCC competitors are preparing excitedly to provide fans a fantastic show. For CTCC, this will be the highlight of 2011.<\/p>\n

Fans will be able to experience the rush of CTCC on Thursday August 18 with practice and qualifying sessions followed by a race on Friday August 19. CTCC drivers and crew will be available in the Support race paddocks, behind the hairpin, throughout the event to interact with fans. Everyone is invited to meet with them.<\/p>\n
