{"id":12162,"date":"2011-05-05T21:34:21","date_gmt":"2011-05-06T01:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=12162"},"modified":"2011-05-05T21:34:21","modified_gmt":"2011-05-06T01:34:21","slug":"ron-beauchamp-jr-and-team-mopar-set-for-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/ncats-nascar\/ron-beauchamp-jr-and-team-mopar-set-for-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Ron Beauchamp Jr And Team Mopar Set For 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>May 5, 2011.\u00a0 Ron Beauchamp Jr and the #60 Mopar Parts\/Mobil 1\/Exide Batteries team took to the track at Kawartha Speedway for the first time this past weekend at the annual Mopar Test Day.\u00a0 The team came away from the afternoon extremely pleased with the results and can\u2019t wait to open the season in just a few weeks at Mosport.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-center \" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/gallery\/events\/Dickies-200-2\/NASCAR-Canadian-Tire-Series-Dickies-200-3A9766.jpg\" alt=\"NASCAR-Canadian Tire Series-Dickies 200\" width=\"480\" height=\"320\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ron Beauchamp Jr. - Mosport Raceway 2010<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been an off season full of change for the #60 Mopar Parts\/Mobil 1\/Exide Batteries team.\u00a0 The first visible change is the racy new look to the 2011 Dodge Challenger body on the race car.\u00a0 Also new for 2011 is the Crew Chief as Mike Knott an experienced veteran of the series has signed on.\u00a0 Knott brings with him some new and innovative ideas that the team has worked hard on this off season.\u00a0 \u201cMike has worked with us in the past a little bit and when the opportunity for him to come aboard full time and be our Crew Chief came about we were thrilled\u201d said Beauchamp.<\/p>\n<p>The new car set up that Beauchamp took to the speedway with proved to be tremendously successful.\u00a0 \u201cI just can\u2019t believe how good the car felt\u201d exclaimed Beauchamp after one segment on the track.\u00a0 \u201cI just kept driving the car deeper and deeper each time around and I was expecting it to get loose, but it didn\u2019t.\u00a0 I can\u2019t remember having a car that handled this well\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The constant once again this season for the #60 Mopar Parts\/Mobil 1\/Exide Batteries team is the return of all the sponsorship partners for another season.\u00a0 \u201cWe get amazing support from everyone\u201d said the driver.\u00a0 \u201cMopar is not only our sponsor but they are huge supporters of the series and that helps everyone.\u00a0 Plus the additional backing from Mobile 1 and Exide Batteries is fantastic.\u00a0 It\u2019s a privilege to represent them at the races and all of the other events we have planned again this year\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Ron Beauchamp Jr and the #60 Mopar Parts\/Mobil 1\/Exide Batteries Dodge Team will compete in all twelve races on the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series schedule beginning with round one taking place May 28th at Mosport Speedway near Bowmanville, Ontario.\u00a0 Once again this year all events will be broadcast on TSN.\u00a0 Fans should check their local listings for times.\u00a0 For more information about the #60 Mopar Parts\/Mobil 1\/Exide Batteries team log on to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beauchampmotorsports.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.beauchampmotorsports.com<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mopar.ca\" target=\"_blank\">www.mopar.ca<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For series information check out www.nascar.ca.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>\u00a9 RIF | <\/em><em>TL Sports &amp;
