{"id":13145,"date":"2011-07-19T06:57:12","date_gmt":"2011-07-19T10:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=13145"},"modified":"2011-07-19T06:57:12","modified_gmt":"2011-07-19T10:57:12","slug":"new-owner-already-making-changes-at-hrt-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/new-owner-already-making-changes-at-hrt-report\/","title":{"rendered":"New owner already making changes at HRT &#8211; report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HRT&#8217;s new owner is already making changes at the struggling Spanish team.<\/p>\n<p>The sports daily AS reports that the team&#8217;s former owner is no longer involved in any way, contrary to earlier speculation that Jose Ramon Carabante&#8217;s son Jose would be installed in a senior management role.<\/p>\n<p>The newspaper also said new owner Thesan Capital, a Madrid-based investment company, has dispensed with the team&#8217;s media boss Alba Saiz.<\/p>\n<p>And the team name Hispania will no longer be deployed by Thesan in formula one, as a new silver logo bearing the words &#8216;HRT Formula One Team&#8217; is debuted.<\/p>\n<p>AS said the immediate changes are the result of an analysis carried out by Thesan since early July, involving the visit to Silverstone of former Minardi driver Luis Perez Sala.<\/p>\n<p>The report also said Thesan was upset with the way its takeover was announced by Hispania, such as the claim that the &#8220;current team and directors&#8221; would be retained.<\/p>\n<p>More changes and the team&#8217;s new image are expected to become clearer at the Nurburgring this weekend, AS added.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HRT&#8217;s new owner is already making changes at the struggling Spanish team.
