Saskatoon native Brett McCormick claimed the pole for both rounds of Canadian Superbike Championship by Parts Canada in this weekend’s Superbike Doubleheader Weekend at Mosport International Raceway, August 19-21.\u00a0 The 20-year-old set a new track record on his BMW Motorrad S1000R with a time of 1:20.882, claiming the Pirelli SuperPole, edging defending five-time Series champion Jordan Szoke of Brantford by 0.232 seconds.\u00a0 Kars, ON resident Andrew Nelson will start third.<\/p>\n
The Mosport Superbike Doubleheader Weekend by Parts Canada continues on Saturday with practice sessions in the morning for all six classes competing.\u00a0 The first races of the weekend begin in the afternoon, with the Pirelli Pro Sport Bikes up first followed by the Inside Motorcycles Amateur Sport Bike, Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup, Parts Canada Pro Superbike Feature Race, Honda CBR125R Challenge and the K&N Filters Amateur Superbike to wrap up the full day of two-wheel racing.<\/p>\n
