{"id":13647,"date":"2011-09-10T07:15:22","date_gmt":"2011-09-10T11:15:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=13647"},"modified":"2011-09-10T07:15:22","modified_gmt":"2011-09-10T11:15:22","slug":"domenicali-confused-after-horner-hits-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/domenicali-confused-after-horner-hits-back\/","title":{"rendered":"Domenicali confused after Horner hits back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stefano Domenicali was baffled on Friday when reporters asked for his thoughts on a war of words with Red Bull counterpart Christian Horner.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Me?\u00a0 That&#8217;s the first time that I hear that,&#8221; said the Ferrari team boss.<\/p>\n<p>Media reports said Horner had responded angrily to some recent comments made in the specialist press by Domenicali, including the suggestion that Red Bull is a one-man team with star designer Adrian Newey at the helm.<\/p>\n<p>And the Italian had told a German newspaper that Sebastian Vettel is not yet a true leader.<\/p>\n<p>Horner hit back by insisting that Red Bull doesn&#8217;t &#8220;disrespect or underestimate the achievements of our peers&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>When told Horner apparently had a problem with some of his comments, Domenicali said: &#8220;That&#8217;s a new one.\u00a0 I will speak with him, without speaking to journalists.\u00a0 I want to see what he&#8217;s saying.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t think that I&#8217;ve said something strange but it&#8217;s interesting to see Christian&#8217;s reaction.\u00a0 Maybe he will have something to say to me.\u00a0 He knows my telephone number,&#8221; added the Italian.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stefano Domenicali was baffled on Friday when reporters asked for his thoughts on a war of words with Red Bull counterpart Christian Horner. &#8220;Me?\u00a0 That&#8217;s the first time that I hear that,&#8221; said the Ferrari team boss.
