It offers owners,<\/em><em> <\/em><em>enthusiasts, visitors and shop-keepers the opportunity to leave the modern world behind and enjoy the magic of the historic street scape infused with the rolling beauty of classic British engineering and design.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>2012 FEATURED MARQUES EXPANDED!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>In response to popular demand we are expanding the featured marques in celebration of the 50th Anniversaries of several significant models within the BritCar family. 1962 was a great year for the British Auto industry and also for all of us because fifty years on, we have these wonderful pieces of rolling history to appreciate and to help us remember more carefree days.<\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>2012 FEATURED MARQUES AND 50th ANNIVERSARIES: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>FORD CARS in celebration of the revolutionary CORTINA<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>LOTUS CARS in celebration of the nimble ELAN<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>MG CARS in celebration of the 50<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary for the FAB MGB!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>MORRIS AND AUSTIN CARS in celebration of the record selling MORRIS 1100 model range<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>TRIUMPH CARS in celebration of the dashing Spitfire<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>PLUS<\/em><\/strong><em>, we have <strong>EXPANDED<\/strong> the weekend to include<\/em><em> <\/em><strong><em>SATURDAY<\/em><\/strong><em> events<\/em><em>: <\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cWING COMMANDER\u2019S RAID\u201d<\/em><\/strong><em> <\/em><strong><em>RALLY\/TOUR. <\/em><\/strong><em>Inspired by the intrepid Fighter Ace, Nigel Shiftright, the<strong> \u201cWing Commander\u2019s Raid\u201d <\/strong>will lead you on a circumnavigation of Lake Scugog of approximately 90 miles in distance. All that I can tell you now is that you\u2019ll enjoy the sense of discovery as the road opens before you.<strong> <\/strong>The rest will remain top secret.<strong> <\/strong><\/em><em>Be sure to make plans to be part of the first annual event. The cost is only $50.00 per car (driver &amp; navigator) and includes lunch. Entry is limited to 30 cars.
