{"id":17430,"date":"2012-12-19T06:56:27","date_gmt":"2012-12-19T11:56:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=17430"},"modified":"2012-12-19T06:56:27","modified_gmt":"2012-12-19T11:56:27","slug":"bianchi-has-real-chance-of-force-india-seat-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/bianchi-has-real-chance-of-force-india-seat-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Bianchi has &#8216;real chance&#8217; of Force India seat &#8211; manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jules Bianchi has a &#8220;real chance&#8221; of securing one of the two remaining race seats on the 2013 grid.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left alignright\" style=\"border: 1px solid black; margin: 5px 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/gallery\/f1-2012-rif-images\/f1-12-drivers\/Jules-Bianchi.jpg\" alt=\"Jules-Bianchi\" width=\"384\" height=\"256\" \/>The 23-year-old Frenchman&#8217;s manager Nicolas Todt told RMC Sport that Bianchi is in the running for the vacant Force India drive alongside Paul di Resta.<\/p>\n<p>Bianchi, also supported by Ferrari&#8217;s driver development &#8216;academy&#8217;, was the Silverstone based team&#8217;s full time reserve driver this year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The decision is in the hands of two or three people at the Force India team,&#8221; Todt, the son of FIA president Jean Todt and also the manager of Felipe Massa and Pastor Maldonado, said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think Jules has a real chance but nothing is done,&#8221; added Todt.<\/p>\n<p>It has been reported the favourite for the drive is German Adrian Sutil, but Todt insisted: &#8220;There are many drivers knocking on the door at Force India.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He said he doubts Sutil is a shoe-in for the seat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would be surprised, but as of today I do not think anyone has signed,&#8221; said Todt.<\/p>\n<p>Force India has announced it will launch its 2013 car at Silverstone on 1 February, ahead of the winter test season in Spain.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jules Bianchi has a &#8220;real chance&#8221; of securing one of the two remaining race seats on the 2013 grid.
