{"id":18104,"date":"2013-04-17T06:58:21","date_gmt":"2013-04-17T10:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=18104"},"modified":"2013-04-17T06:58:21","modified_gmt":"2013-04-17T10:58:21","slug":"raikkonen-not-complaining-about-pirelli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/raikkonen-not-complaining-about-pirelli\/","title":{"rendered":"Raikkonen not complaining about Pirelli"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kimi Raikkonen has refused to join the chorus of criticism of this year&#8217;s Pirelli tyres.<\/p>\n<p>Currently just three points shy of leading the 2013 world championship, the Finn won the season opening Australian grand prix and finished second in Shanghai.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left alignleft\" style=\"margin: 5px 10px;\" alt=\"Kimi-Raikkonen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/gallery\/f1-2012-rif-images\/f1-12-drivers\/Kimi-Raikkonen.jpg\" width=\"384\" height=\"256\" \/>In China, Mercedes&#8217; Lewis Hamilton said making Pirelli&#8217;s soft tyre last more than just a few corners was &#8220;almost impossible&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But everyone has the same (challenge) &#8230; except for this guy,&#8221; he said, turning to Lotus&#8217; Raikkonen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He seems to be able to look after them a little bit better than most people,&#8221; Hamilton added.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, Raikkonen said he doesn&#8217;t know what all the fuss is about regarding Pirelli&#8217;s supposedly-disintegrating 2013 tyres.<\/p>\n<p>He said before this weekend&#8217;s Bahrain grand prix: &#8220;It&#8217;s never perfect.\u00a0 You can&#8217;t always push 100 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;(But) it&#8217;s not really any different from last year \u2013 at least for us anyway \u2013 so I don&#8217;t really understand why people are complaining.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kimi Raikkonen has refused to join the chorus of criticism of this year&#8217;s Pirelli tyres.
