{"id":18878,"date":"2013-07-26T07:15:50","date_gmt":"2013-07-26T11:15:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=18878"},"modified":"2013-07-26T07:15:50","modified_gmt":"2013-07-26T11:15:50","slug":"williams-not-planning-further-tests-for-wolff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/williams-not-planning-further-tests-for-wolff\/","title":{"rendered":"Williams not planning further tests for Wolff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Williams is not planning any more significant test sessions for Susie Wolff in the immediate future.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left alignright\" style=\"margin: 5px 10px;\" alt=\"Susie-Wolff-1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/gallery\/f1-2013-rif-images\/f1-2013-drivers\/Susie-Wolff-1.jpg\" width=\"384\" height=\"256\" \/>The famous British team&#8217;s female reserve driver impressed both Williams and the wider F1 world with her first real circuit test in the 2013 car recently at Silverstone.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She did a good job, with no mistakes and making good progress with the new tyres,&#8221; Williams&#8217; chief engineer Xevi Pujolar is quoted by Brazil&#8217;s Globo Esporte.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But we are not considering the possibility of regular tests for Susie at this point,&#8221; he insisted, admitting he was also talking about potential running on Friday mornings at grands prix.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The work we did at Silverstone is different to what we do on a race weekend, so we are not considering that,&#8221; added Pujolar.<\/p>\n<p>Wolff, 30, is therefore leaving her plans for the future open.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have two great drivers,&#8221; she said, referring to Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas, &#8220;so it is not possible to drive on Fridays this season.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But we&#8217;ll see.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not the type of person who likes to sit still,&#8221; added Wolff.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I always like to be developing myself constantly.\u00a0 So I&#8217;ll think about what is the right next step for me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Williams is not planning any more significant test sessions for Susie Wolff in the immediate future.
