{"id":19079,"date":"2013-08-25T07:49:20","date_gmt":"2013-08-25T11:49:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=19079"},"modified":"2013-08-25T07:49:20","modified_gmt":"2013-08-25T11:49:20","slug":"another-vettel-title-shows-f1-still-a-sport-wurz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/another-vettel-title-shows-f1-still-a-sport-wurz\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Vettel title shows F1 &#8216;still a sport&#8217; &#8211; Wurz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former F1 driver Alex Wurz has admitted he expects Sebastian Vettel to stroll now to his fourth drivers&#8217; title.<\/p>\n<p>Many others think Mercedes&#8217; Lewis Hamilton, the dominant winner of the last grand prix in Hungary and back on pole in Belgium, could mount a real challenge to Red Bull rival Vettel&#8217;s reign in the second half of the season.<\/p>\n<p>But when asked by Speed Week what he is expecting from the last nine races of 2013, Austrian Wurz admitted: &#8220;An early world title for Vettel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Asked if yet another championship for Red Bull and Vettel is really what F1 needs, Wurz added: &#8220;It depends on your perspective.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you take a step back, I think it&#8217;s good because it shows that despite everything, formula one is still a sport, where the best one wins, even if it&#8217;s early.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For me it&#8217;s good because it means formula one is a pure sport that is not influenced artificially,&#8221; said 39-year-old Wurz, who last raced for Williams in 2007.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former F1 driver Alex Wurz has admitted he expects Sebastian Vettel to stroll now to his fourth drivers&#8217; title.
