{"id":19374,"date":"2013-09-23T06:59:22","date_gmt":"2013-09-23T10:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=19374"},"modified":"2013-09-23T06:59:22","modified_gmt":"2013-09-23T10:59:22","slug":"new-jersey-back-on-22-race-2014-calendar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/new-jersey-back-on-22-race-2014-calendar\/","title":{"rendered":"New Jersey back on 22-race 2014 calendar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Jersey is right back in the running for a grand prix in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the new street race amid the New York skyline was the subject of constant &#8216;on again, off again&#8217; speculation, culminating in an early draft of next year&#8217;s calendar omitting the famous name.<\/p>\n<p>But El Mundo Deportivo, a Spanish sports newspaper, has now published a new tentative 2014 schedule, based on information that was doing the rounds in the paddock at the weekend in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>The new calendar boasts no less than 22 races, with Monaco, New Jersey and Canada all set to take place back-to-back-to-back in the middle of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Asked, however, how many of the 22 races will really take place next year, F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone told Auto Motor und Sport: &#8220;Let&#8217;s say 20 or 21.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em>\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Jersey is right back in the running for a grand prix in 2014.
