Formerly called the High Octane 200, the event will now be known as the Vortex Brake Pads 200.

“ We had a great experience sponsoring the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race last year at the Mosport Speedway oval and for the next two seasons are looking forward to having our name associated with the historic Mosport International Raceway circuit and their NASCAR Series race,” said Bryan Watts, vice-president of Vortex Brake Pads. “Through our sponsorship of Ed Hakonson Racing (EHR) and driver Jason Hathaway, we’ve made inroads into this and other stock car racing championships.
