{"id":6254,"date":"2010-06-11T20:15:34","date_gmt":"2010-06-12T00:15:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=6254"},"modified":"2010-06-11T20:15:34","modified_gmt":"2010-06-12T00:15:34","slug":"canadian-remy-audette-third-fastest-on-day-one-at-mosport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/events-shows\/canadian-remy-audette-third-fastest-on-day-one-at-mosport\/","title":{"rendered":"Canadian Remy Audette Third Fastest On Day One At Mosport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 50th anniversary season continues with the start of the Vortex Brake Pads 200 Weekend at Mosport International Raceway.<\/p>\n<p>All of the series&#8217; running this weekend except the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series held practice sessions on Mosport&#8217;s famed road course.\u00a0 The F2000 Championship, Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship and Ontario Formula Ford Championship F1600 prepared for the weekend&#8217;s races.<\/p>\n<p>The lone Canadian running in the F2000 Championship, Remy Audette of St-Anne des Lacs, Quebec ran the third fastest practice time today with a time of 1:21.891.\u00a0 It was just behind Victor Carbone and Cole Morgan who was the pace setter with a time of 1:21.676.\u00a0 Carbone has won three of the four races this season.\u00a0 Audette currently sits in ninth place in the points standing despite missing two of the four season races.<\/p>\n<p>Edmonton native Stefan Rzadzinski, had the quickest practice lap time for the Ontario Formula Ford Championship at a clip of 1:28.2.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday&#8217;s action begins with practice and qualifying sessions in the morning.\u00a0 The Castrol Touring Car Championship, F2000 and Ontario Formula Ford will run the first leg of their doubleheaders Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The weekend headliner, NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will hold their qualifying session in two groups to end the day.<\/p>\n<p>The Vortex Brake Pads 200 is the second race of the season for the NASCAR<\/p>\n<p>Canadian Tire Series and will run on Sunday, June 13 at 1:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">\u00a9 RIF | Mosport Media<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 50th anniversary season continues with the start of the Vortex Brake Pads 200 Weekend at Mosport International Raceway.
