Christian Klien could soon get a race at the wheel of the Spanish team HRT’s 2010 car.<\/p>\n
Since Silverstone, Japanese test driver Sakon Yamamoto has been contesting grands prix for Hispania; first in Bruno Senna’s car, and then in the place of Karun Chandhok.<\/p>\n
It is very likely the 28-year-old’s sponsors will pay for another outing at Spa later this month.<\/p>\n
But even though he wields less pay-driver power, Austrian Klien – HRT’s second test driver – is also hopeful.<\/p>\n
“We have always said we have four drivers and we will use all of them,” team boss Colin Kolles said in Hungary.<\/p>\n
Asked specifically about Klien, he said it is “a possibility” he will race in 2010.<\/p>\n
Klien, 27, told APA news agency: “I am the only driver in the team with experience.<\/p>\n
“Money can of course be very useful, but eventually the team will be in a situation where they say they are better off with an experienced driver in the car,” he added.<\/p>\n
