{"id":9129,"date":"2010-10-23T10:43:53","date_gmt":"2010-10-23T14:43:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=9129"},"modified":"2010-10-23T10:43:53","modified_gmt":"2010-10-23T14:43:53","slug":"alonso-doubts-rossi-to-become-ferrari-teammate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/alonso-doubts-rossi-to-become-ferrari-teammate\/","title":{"rendered":"Alonso doubts Rossi to become Ferrari teammate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fernando Alonso has revealed he would be happy to be Valentino Rossi&#8217;s teammate at Ferrari.<\/p>\n<p>But despite rumours of trouble for his current teammate Felipe Massa, the Spaniard admitted it is not likely to happen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Of course, why not?&#8221; Alonso told GQ magazine when asked if he would be happy to share the Maranello based team with Italian Rossi, the multiple champion of MotoGP.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Valentino is a great champion, but I don&#8217;t think such a thing is going to happen,&#8221; he added, in an interview yet to be published in print.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrari and Massa regularly dismiss the speculation about the Brazilian losing his seat at the end of the 2010 season.<\/p>\n<p>The latest denial was made by the 29-year-old in Korea.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Every year people are coming in my place,&#8221; Massa told the BBC.\u00a0 &#8220;Alonso has raced for three years already in my seat, Sebastian Vettel came for my position and Rossi again.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So, it&#8217;s no problem.\u00a0 Every year is the same and I&#8217;m still here,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #888888;\">\u00a0\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fernando Alonso has revealed he would be happy to be Valentino Rossi&#8217;s teammate at Ferrari.
