{"id":9828,"date":"2010-11-24T11:24:20","date_gmt":"2010-11-24T16:24:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/?p=9828"},"modified":"2010-11-24T11:24:20","modified_gmt":"2010-11-24T16:24:20","slug":"trulli-getting-ready-for-2011-season-at-lotus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.racinginfocus.com\/rif\/formula-1\/trulli-getting-ready-for-2011-season-at-lotus\/","title":{"rendered":"Trulli getting ready for 2011 season at Lotus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jarno Trulli on Wednesday hinted he expects to remain with the Lotus Racing team in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The 36-year-old Italian has denied he is considering a switch to American NASCAR racing next year, but speculation linking other drivers with Trulli&#8217;s cockpit have persisted.<\/p>\n<p>He had a troubled campaign with the new team this season, whilst insiders say Trulli&#8217;s teammate Heikki Kovalainen is happier at Lotus and definitely staying in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>But Trulli told BBC Radio Norfolk: &#8220;I&#8217;ll go to the factory in a few days to get ready and prepare the 2011 season chassis, cockpit and seat.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He admitted it was a &#8220;tough season&#8221; but said he is still motivated to be in formula one, despite his career moving from stints at Renault and Toyota to the back of the grid now.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Some performances have been pretty bad compared to what I was used to,&#8221; admitted Trulli.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But nevertheless I have always tried to get the best out of myself and the car, I&#8217;ve still enjoyed a lot of good fights.&#8221;<br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #888888;\">\u00a9 RIF | GMM<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jarno Trulli on Wednesday hinted he expects to remain with the Lotus Racing team in 2011.
