North American International Motorcycle Supershow (NAIMCS) – 2011

The 35th edition of the NAIMCS promises to be the best yet, with a full range of products, services, activities and information for motorcycle and power sports enthusiasts. The largest show of it’s kind in North America, has something for everyone, from the novice to professional alike.

Most of the motorcycle and related industry in the GTA will be represented. New and used motorcycles, parts, accessories and motorcycle services will be featured. Visitors will have the opportunity to get close and personal with all products and people, to “kick the tires” and ask all the questions.

The show will feature many events including;

– The 2010 MAX (Motorcycle Awards of Excellence) Awards for Racers and Riders. Racers, riders and industry builders will be honoured for their achievements and contributions to the sport and industry over 2010.

– The North America International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW will debut Indian Motorcycle’s 2011 Indian Chief Motorcycle lineup. Indian Motorcycle is presenting the new 2011 Chief Blackhawk and Dark Horse colors to the public. Indian Motorcycle accessories are also on display and apparel is available for purchase.

– NAIMCS Announces New Judging protocol on Builders and Pro Builders’ classes for 2011 Showbike Competition. The largest prize jackpot in Canada with over $50,000 in cash & awards and attracts bikes from across Canada to compete. Best Bike in Show takes home $12,000 in cash and the Canada Cup. And now with the credentials of the IMBBA judges, all professional and accredited members of an elite team, SUPERSHOW’s Canada Cup Championships become one of the qualifying competitions for the 2012 World Cup Championships in Laval, Quebec. Showbikes that are IMBBA members will receive points towards certification.

The SUPERSHOW encompasses all seven halls and more than 425,000 square feet, featuring more than 500 exhibitors, 80 clubs and associations on display, top custom bikes competing for a $50,000 jackpot in the Canada Cup Championships, plus the new 2011 motorcycles, riding gear, bike accessories, special guests, racers, seminars, contests, fashion shows, live bands and much more. It has become the social event of the ‘off season’ for motorcyclists of all types.

Known as “the Big One by the Airport”, because of its ideal location and free parking at the International Centre (6900 Airport Road), the SUPERSHOW is a motorcycle shopping extravaganza offering something for every interest including sport bikes, cruisers, motocross, off-road, vintage, touring and custom bikes, as well as scooters and ATV’s.

Established in 1976, the SUPERSHOW is North America’s largest consumer motorcycle show. Produced by Richard Kehoe Productions and Bar Hodgson Productions, the SUPERSHOW is dedicated to presenting the finest the motorcycle industry has to offer for every type of motorcycle enthusiast, in Seven Halls of the International Centre.

“Canadian food bank use has now reached its highest level on record.” The report from Food Banks Canada suggests many Canadians lost their jobs during the recession, and now their unemployment benefits are beginning to run out, they need our help.
