Adrian Fernandez gives Aston Martin Racing Long Beach Pole Position

First overall FQ for Mexican racing legend

Adrian Fernandez put Aston Martin Racing on pole position for the Tequila Patrón American Le Mans Series at Long Beach on Friday with a lap of 1:13.213 (96.770 mph) around the historic Long Beach circuit. The Mexican racing legend, a winner here last year for Acura in LMP2, outpaced Simon Pagenaud by a scant 0.072 seconds for his first overall pole position in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.
