Mowlem To Join WRO At Sebring

Johnny Mowlem will contest this year’s Sebring 12 Hours with the WRO team’s new LMPC class effort. The British team is making its American Le Mans Series debut in the one-make prototype class and has signed Lotus factory driver Mowlem to join Luca Moro for the season opener which also counts as a round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

“I am very grateful to the heads of Lotus Motorsport for allowing me to race with WRO at Sebring,” said Mowlem.  “When it became clear recently that the GT2 Evora would not be racing at Sebring, I wanted to be able to still compete at the race, as I believe the 2011 race will be epic.”

“I’m delighted that Daniel Woodard at WRO has given me that opportunity and I will try to make WRO’s ALMS debut be as successful; as possible.”
