Next Stop for American Le Mans Series – Road America

Try to find a driver who doesn’t like North America’s premier road course.

So how do you follow one of the most exciting races in the history of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón? How about taking the same competitors to the most revered track in North America?

That’s just what’s on tap next week with the American Le Mans Series powered by eStar. Thirty-four of the world’s best sports cars – a record for Series race at ‘the Spa of North America’ – will contest the seventh round of the 2010 championship. At 14 turns and 4.048 miles, Road America is a favorite of the entire paddock given its high speeds, daunting turns, elevation changes and picturesque run through the heart of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine.

Just how did the 2009 race at Road America turn out? Here’s a glance…

Any guesses how this year’s running will shape up? We will all find out at 2:05 p.m. CT on Sunday, August 22. SPEED will air the race live at 3 p.m. ET with live radio coverage available on American Le Mans Radio presented by Porsche – a production of Radio Show Limited – as well as Sirius Channel 127 and XM Channel 242.
