The Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Continental Tire (CTCC) is proud to announce that it will be part of the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières race program for the next three years.

CTCC features race cars based on their stock production versions and is one of the fan favourites in Trois-Rivières, due in part to the number of local drivers. Among them, in Touring Class, Honda Civic driver Jocelyn Hébert who celebrated with a double podium this past weekend holds the event record for number of podiums with sixteen. Also, in Super Class, Marc-Antoine Camirand holds the event record for number of victories with nine.
During his stay in Trois-Rivières, the founder and President of CTCC John Bondar agreed with the CEO of the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, François Bordeleau, on a three-year contract renewal that will bring them back until the 2014 race season.
“Trois-Rivières is definitely one of the most interesting street circuits in Canada and our drivers do not want to miss the opportunity to race there”, says John Bondar. “In addition, the night race is absolutely phenomenal and I am thrilled that we are the featured presentation.”
CTCC has almost completed its fifth season with only two more events left on the schedule and is preparing for the 2012 season. Looking ahead to year six, the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Continental Tire is confident and enthusiastic about future developments that will grow its brand throughout Canada.
