Davidson to continue BBC radio role in 2010

Former formula one driver Anthony Davidson will continue to attend grands prix in 2010 as a radio commentator.

The 30-year-old was last year a full time feature of the British broadcaster BBC’s Radio 5 Live commentary team.

Despite previously aiming for a return to the grid this season, the former Minardi, BAR and Super Aguri driver will again provide “a driver’s perspective to events” on BBC radio in 2010, a press release issued on Friday said.

It was also announced that David Coulthard will continue to be an expert pundit on British television in 2010, despite rumours linking the Scottish veteran with a seat in the German touring car series DTM.
