Fisichella tours HRT garage in Bahrain

Giancarlo Fisichella was given a tour of HRT’s garage on the day of Friday practice for the 2010 season opener.

The Roman veteran, at the Sakhir circuit as Ferrari’s reserve driver, was given the tour by none other than the new Spanish team’s boss Colin Kolles.

Also rumoured on Friday is that Johnny Herbert has agreed to be a steward at some point in 2009, after Alain Prost took up duties in the FIA offices in Bahrain.

Meanwhile, with Bridgestone vowing to pull out of F1 at the end of 2010, a casually-clothed gentleman who used to frequent the paddocks as a Michelin official was spotted in the paddock on Friday.

And FIA president Jean Todt will front a media conference at the circuit late on Friday afternoon.
