Lotus reveals sponsor deal with CNN

New F1 team Lotus on Tuesday announced it will be sponsored by the famous news network CNN in 2010 and beyond.

The “long-term agreement” will see the familiar ‘CNN’ logo on the T127 cars as well as the drivers’ overalls and team clothing.

Photos provided by Lotus showed a white CNN logo on the front wing of the car and on the visor of Heikki Kovalainen’s helmet.

“It is a sign of the positive impact we have already made in the global business market that such a prestigious brand … has made the decision to partner with us,” said team boss Tony Fernandes.
