‘No problems’ after new Williams makes debut

Williams is in a bullish mood on Friday following the track debut of its 2010 car.

On a section of the Silverstone circuit not affected by its redevelopment on Thursday, the FW32 single seater broke cover for a private film shoot.

Nico Hulkenberg was on duty at the wheel, and eyewitnesses said the Cosworth-powered car featured a high nose similar to the one seen on Red Bull’s latterly dominant car of 2009.

“(Technical director) Sam Michael reports that there were no problems with the FW32 yesterday and the Cosworth engine is looking really strong,” spokeswoman Claire Williams wrote on her Twitter page.
