Williams set to debut F-duct on Saturday

It is believed Williams’ new F-duct system will be up and running for the first time in Saturday morning practice.

The British team is understood to have wanted to debut the McLaren-like system on Friday in Shanghai, but some new parts for the FW32 car were held up in Chinese customs.

An official Williams source, not confirming that the F-duct pieces were among them, confirmed that some new parts that were delayed arrived at the track late on Friday.

Also missing in the Shanghai pitlane on Friday was the team’s technical director Sam Michael, who had trouble obtaining a visa.

It is believed he will be trackside on Saturday.
