Michael Schumacher’s spokeswoman and day-to-day manager confirmed on Tuesday that the seven time world champion has rejoined the F1 drivers’ union GPDA.

With a seventh place on Sunday, and no race wins yet in the bag, Felipe Massa took the lead of the drivers’ world championship at Sepang.

During a FOTA meeting scheduled for 4.30pm on Friday at Sepang, the F1 teams association is expected to discuss the possible revival of in-race refuelling for the 2011 season.  

The first major evidence of Ferrari’s push to improve the cooling efficiency of its 2010 car can now be seen in the team’s pit garage at Sepang.  

Fernando Alonso has revealed that Michael Schumacher suspected he deliberately held up the German during qualifying in Melbourne.
